Last year my sister worked with me for about 6 months and while she had an extensive background in software development, she never touched any Ruby on Rails code. So before I invited her to work on SurveyNuts with me, I got her to create a little side project in Ruby and deploy it in production.

The idea was to make a product that makes easy to create two polls and then analyze the crossed results. There are hundreds of poll makers online, but all of them let you create just one question. And if want a bit more data and depth, your only choice is a sophisticated survey software where you can create dozens of questions. But these softwares don't offer the same fluidity in their user experience and immediacy in viewing the results.

This is how the idea of PollTango (you have to be 2 to tango!) was born. A simple & free poll maker.

Update: it ended up to be something most people used to make only one poll, so the tool only allows for that now!
